Installation of systems
Often when classrooms are added or altered, the installation of the construction and the associated works are tendered, and the lowest bidder will generally be successful. Often these tenders allow only for the Building Code requirements in the site, and do not allow to consider the operational necessities of the School. Almost always, these additions become a building with an odd-ball system, whcih does not interface to the needs of the rest of the School.
Fire Fighting Pacific will undertake a site visit and discuss with you what the needs of your school is - including site-wide evacuation, lock down alarms, school bells, and interfaces which are often left out of school upgrades, and only thought about when the trench has been filled, and the asphalt laid.
It is important to have the concept of how these system operate thought about before the project is put to construction, and Fire Fighting Pacific can help you all the way, from conceptual design, to planning and costing, to full installation and support services.
Contact Fire Fighting Pacific to discuss the plans you have in your school, and how we can assist and make sure that all of your facilities are included while the construction is being undertaken, not once the grass is sown.
